Doulos is an English immersion private school that focuses on hands-on learning, and service to the community. Throughout the curriculum, Biblical truths are integrated as the students learn to be a disciple of Christ. It provides quality education, which is a rare in the DR.
Public education in the Dominican Republic is lacking nationwide and although there is plenty of private schools, it is expense and only available for those in the wealthy classes in the DR. Doulos Discovery School is devoted to providing need-based scholarships for half of the student body. This creates a unique environment in which students from all types of economic backgrounds can learn together.
The school has such a unique atmosphere that is Christ-centered and has an excellence of everything they do. From the relationships that are built here (staff and students) to the academics the students complete. I love teaching here!
